How I Use Economic in My Daily Life - 592 Words

Economic is the study of choices and behaviours. Economics focuses on why we make the choices we do. And what the implications or effects of those choices are. Of all the concepts within economics, supply and demand is perhaps the most well-known by the general public. In economics, we call the point of agreement equilibrium. In other words, the buyers price and the sellers price are now equal. For example, in E-bay people bid on items for sale for a given length of time. When time expires, the one who bids the most get it. Normally we would not pay more for something thats not as good as something else. We’ll only pay less to compensate for the lower quality. Although the quality is low, what is important is that we are able to use†¦show more content†¦The benefit we get from a service or product must be able to correspond to their value of money that we use to obtain it. Psychosis Leads to Murder - 835 Words

Psychosis Leads To Murder Throughout In Cold Blood, Truman Capote writes on the events directly before, during, and the happenings after the brutal murdering of the Clutter family in the quaint town of Holcomb, Kansas. The actions Dick Hickock and Perry Smith attracted Capote and led him to ultimately report on the entire ordeal. Throughout Capote’s masterpiece, In Cold Blood, Hickock and Smith’s deranged and psychotic actions directly correlate to a deep psychosis they both suffered for multiple years. Throughout the novel, In Cold Blood, the two murderers, Dick Hickock and Perry Smith, show instances of unwarranted anger and aggression that leads readers into believing that a serious issue with their psyches have occurred.†¦show more content†¦Both these quotes appear while suffering severe shifts in emotions, which he could not control, thus proving his mental instability. After authorities caught the two, and while being questioned Smith stated, â€Å"It was part passion- a passion that was pathological,† meaning that he could not control himself (Capote 186). Small indications, such as these, allow readers to see deep into the psyche of Hickock and Smith, displaying disturbing images. Throughout unwarranted acts of anger and aggression, Hickock and Smith’s acknowledgement of their insanity, and the delusions and rants they experience directly correlation between their acts of horror and the deep psychosis they became trapped in late in their lives. Th is psychosis directly relates to why they did the terrible things they did, and why they didn’t think anything of it. This correlation becomes easily seen by allowing the reader to glance deep within the psyche of these two ruthless killers. Works Cited Capote, Truman. In Cold Blood. New York: Random House, 1966. Scope description The introduction of online appointment book is a very attractive project for Emanuel Medical Center. This project will help the organization to meet the basic need of more than 50% of the patients, who come at Emanuel for check-up. As the organization involves highly qualified and experienced doctors and staff members, the patients always try to get an appointment from the doctors at Emanuel. However, many patients are there, who cannot book an appointment with the doctors because they stay at a long distance from Emanuel Medical Center. One team will take care of the development of the webpage. One team will be there to properly maintain the webpage, where the patients will book the appointment. The third team will be the service provider team, including the doctors, nurses and other staff members (Sridhar Kalaiselvi, 2015). The schedule of this particular project will include 12 weeks. The project will be started from 17th August 2016 and the project will be end on 18th November 2016. The service will be started from 1st December 2016. There will be a person as operational head, who will check the total system starting from receiving an online appointment request to providing the service to the patient. These payment transactions shall be secured by making use of Safepay or other anti-malware tools (Uop. 2006). Intellectual property laws and regulations shall also be followed in the application. Privacy and Security Issues The use of mobile application in Shoecarnival may bring in many different mobile security risks and attacks. These risks may be in the form of information security or network security risks and threats. These may have an adverse impact on the privacy, confidentiality and security of the customer data and product details stored in the application. The impact of such attacks can be low to extremely significant in nature. For instance, in case of the breaching of financial information of a customer, there may be legal impacts and obligations on Shoecarnival (Onebusiness, 2013). The different forms of attacks may include malware attacks and risks, network eavesdropping attacks, man in the middle attacks, SQL injection attacks, information breaches, information losses and leakage along with many more. Information availability may also be impacted by the execution of the attacks such as denial of service and distributed denial of service attacks. There are also other forms of flooding attacks that may take place. Many different security controls shall be implemented to make sure that the privacy and security risks associated with the mobile application do not take place. These controls shall include a combination of logical controls along with enhancement of administrative policies. These technical controls shall include the use and implementation of anti-malware and anti-denial tools along with network scanners and intrusion detection systems. There shall also be enhanced monitoring and review practices that must be carried out. Other Risks E-commerce and mobile commerce are not the new trends in the market. There are already a number of business units that have their presence on the online platforms including mobile mediums. Due to this reason, there may be market risks associated with the solution that has been proposed for Shoecarnival. It will be required to develop the strategies and include the features in the mobile application that are not being offered with any of the competitors. These may include promotional offers, discounts and deals. There will also be numerous changes that may come up with the business operations and their mode of execution. The members of staff may take a little while to easily adapt with the changes. This may have an adverse impact on the productivity and efficiency levels. An initial round of training will be required to be provided to the employees and the end-users along with the inclusion of system documentation. In case of absence of these system documents or the training sessions, there may be technical and operational errors executed by the users. Some of these errors may lead to impacts that may not be allowed to be rolled back. List of Benefits The primary motive and purpose of any business unit is to make sure that the customers associated with the business are satisfied and the revenues earned by the business organization are high. In order to enhance the number of partners and the customer base associated with the site, it has been proposed to have a strong integration of the social media platforms on the website. Also, a mobile application has been recommended for the purpose. It is necessary to plan out all of these activities along with the requirements in such a manner that the goals and objectives of the project as well as the business unit are achieved. There are various development and management methodologies that can be used for this purpose. The development methodology that has been proposed for the solution is agile methodology for system development. It will allow the solution to be developed in such a manner that it is flexible and adaptable in nature. Also, the management of the project shall be done by making use of the methodology as Project Management Body of knowledge (PMBOK). There will be many risks, conflicts and problems that will be associated with the project that will be needed to be efficiently managed. These capabilities and abilities will be offered by the use and implementation of the PMBOK methodology in the company. References Brohi, H., Prithiani, J., Abbas, Z., Bhutto, A. and Chawla, S.
